Rather than assume things and throw baseless assumptions around, why not try and educate yourself on what actually happened/happens when updates are made to a program/game? That's something you don't normally do to fix "minor bugs." Either they were specifically targeting Cheat Engine with this, or they're prepping to actually add the Switch/Xbone version features because that's the only thing I can think of that might remotely call for that kind of adjustment and even then I don't think it would.
